  • INGREDIENTS

    • Dried Green Split Peas
    • Faux Chicken
    • Medium Potatoes, diced into large pieces
    • Large Carrots, coarsely chopped 
    • Celery Stalks, coarsely chopped 
    • Large Onion, coarsely chopped
    • Garlic Cloves, minced
    • Dry Mustard 
    • Allspice 
    • Cumin 
    • Sage 
    • Thyme 
    • Bay Leaves
    • Salt and Pepper
  • DIRECTIONS

    1. In a large pot, bring the peas and water to a boil.
    2. Lower the heat, add the remaining ingredients, and simmer for 1 1/2 to 2 hours, or until the peas are very soft. 
    3. Remove the bay leaves and serve.
