This sweet dessert is served with freshly sliced strawberries from our local vendors and fluffy whipped cream in between two warm biscuits. This dessert will be a go to for your summer afternoon.

  • INGREDIENTS

    • Strawberries, sliced
    • Sugar
    • Pancake mix
    • Milk 
    • Sugar
    • Butter, melted
    • Whipping Cream

  • DIRECTIONS

    1. Heat oven to 425°F.

    2. In large bowl, mix strawberries and sugar; set aside.

    3. In medium bowl, stir Bisquick mix, milk,  sugar and the butter until soft dough forms.

    4. On ungreased cookie sheet, drop dough by spoonfuls.

    5. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.

    6. Meanwhile, in small bowl, beat whipping cream with electric mixer on high speed until soft peaks form.

    7. Split warm shortcakes; fill and top with strawberries and whipped cream.
